People consider Motor Yachts as Power Yachts or Motor Boats; they are leisure vessels not being equipped with sails. They are more independent than Sailing Yachts not to speak of the weather conditions and can offer you a faster cruising speed for they are not operated by the wind through sails. Motor Yachts are less limited in the design (hydrodynamics and aerodynamics), and thus they have bigger volume bodies in height and width and are often more equipped in the interior space than Sailing yachts. But Motor Yachts are more sensitive to sea conditions being Roll, pitch and Yaw. Two major categories within the Motor yachts not depending on the dimension of the Motor Yachts are Replacement Yachts and Planing Yachts, expressing the manner in which the boat sails through the water. Navigating, mooring and operating Motor Yachts are easier than doing so with sailing ones. Therefore, the Maritime law offers Sailing yachts priority over Motor vessels. There is even a separation when licensing a skpper in some nations.
